It's CHRISTMAS....shaRe anD LOve :)

It's cold outside and I can feel the breeze touching my skin already. This happened and it makes me remember something it reminds me of what month are we in. It's December, and Christmas is fast approaching. Christmas, this is the day our Jesus Christ was born. For us Filipinos, we always celebrate it in our special ways. And what makes our Christmas unique is that we celebrate it over the world the longest.

Despite the crisis we are having, we still are wanting to have something for Christmas. And this shows how we give importance to our Christmas Day. I was wondering before why do we have to celebrate Christmas, what does it signifies. But as I grew up and see the true meaning of Christmas, I came to realize that it is very important because Christmas season only happens once a year. It's the only time for us to spread humanity, unity and peace to everyone. The time of spreading care and love to our loved ones and the willingness to help, give and share to those who are in need. Christmas, it's in this season where people got very busy preparing for Christmas Celebration, preparing for lanterns, Christmas lights and Christmas decors. Wrapping gifts and share it during Christmas eve. But what's good in Christmas is that it's the only time everybody is united as one, the time for forgiveness and acceptance. It's the time for showing what we or how we care for others. It's giving and sharing part of ourselves to others. It's giving our hands to those who needs help providing the true essence and true spirit of Christmas.

So we should always make everyday, Christmas day. We should feel and spread the real and true essence and spirit of Christmas because it signifies oneness of our human race.

"Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon"

Thirty days of everything was gone. Many happenings had paired as time runs so fast, I do remember the things I made, the things that go and fade. As to our values and traits today, as time passes by, it slowly vanishes and fades. We all know that our trademark as Filipinos is our being hospitable, caring, loving and helpful. But the character trait of people nowadays are continuously changing.
It is with this month, month of November where we started our month with the candle lightning at the cemeteries which for me symbolizes the enlightening our ways and start of change. As the Values Club launch their theme, "Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon." Month of November remarks lots of happenings to our countrymen, and so with our schools, many contests were held which was attended by students of the school. Contest were those like sayawit competition, poster & slogan making contest, cookfest and kite flying. This contest's establish good traits and values for the student that despite of life challenges, we the students were taught to administer new and nice values and traits. Conducting Filipino Values Month is a great leap to Filipinos in lifting lives with values, good morals and camarederee in putting things into actions.
Filipinos really executes a good example of a good person. Filipinos really are helpful, caring, hospitable and not selfish. If and only if everyone of us are capable to show this kind of attitudes and camarederie, surely our country will be off to its nice situation. All in peace, no war, an ideal country with its ideal people. That's what a country has to save and I am longing for!

Recent Learnings

As i woke up everyday, was dressed up and head my way to school, there's the feeling inside me the tiredness. That was about five months and time really is running so fast. As we enter a new chapter, a new quarter, I was wondering and asking myself, what are the lessons I've learned. And as I was questioning myself I came to realize that there are a lot of it that was missed.
We enter now the third quarter and what I remember was our lessons about tags, web pages, web designs, start and end tags, activities and discussions. I admit that some of the lessons and activities were strangers to me because I wasn't able to catch up with those lessons and activities. But even if those are new to me I easily understood the lessons and actually I enjoyed doing activities, those typings, hands on activities and it's nice learning those new learning. I expect some and even more of this the next coming quarters. Having our passed lessons was educating because I was able to learn how to make use of those and how it was made. It was really an educating experience. Thankful me for having this type of special education, computer education because I know not all were given this kind of learning.
T.L.E......is really a must have subject for learning that were thought here were the ones useful for us, were the ones useful for our chosen future.

Let's Make the Difference

Many questions have already passed. And almost all of our great ancestors and inventors had left us great works which has been very useful and important to us.

Way back from the past was a long journey and happenings that were done and that some were not new to us. These happenings are things that made great differences. We still remember our scientist, inventors and ancestors who contributed a lot that helped shaped and develop our culture and economy, right? But since everything changes and we had suffered ups and downs regarding our country’s condition. And I know that each and everyone of us were hoping and wishing to have a better and developed country. We should make a move to make a difference. Since the knowledge from the past are in us, we can adapt to changes from there. Adapting to changes does not mean that we copy it for improvement. But we simply take it as our basis for a change.

Gadgets and advancements are our proofs of an advance society. We should not disregard the many changes that existed from the past because these are our key to success and better future

Let Us Use the Filipino Language

The month of August is here again, and the Buwan ng Wika is being celebrated by the whole island. The theme is being changed every year. This year, the theme was, "Wikang Filipino, Mula Baler Hanggang Buong Bansa."

During the month of August, different contests were being held to support our National Language, Filipino. The theme has given a thought and a message to us that we must widen our vocabulary on the language - so that we may be able to disseminate everywhere in the country so that we won't forget to use this. Let us use the Filipino language as a way of valuing a part of our culture. Let us mobilize the use of this language and let us not be left behind by the other nations.

Let us give importance to the Filipino language, use, dignify and enrich it. Who knows, this would be the start of our national identity!

I in the Mirror

As I enter a new chapter in my life, the life of a senior, I have always asked myself if I can do it this year. Since in fourth year life, new challenges are to be faced. So I have to be firm in facing problems. In school there is really lots of learning that are learned. In school, I discovered wonders of education. Especially in T.L.E., the history of Internet and the ICT matters. When I first entered in school, I really do not have any single idea on this computer education. So I was thankful to be educated with this kind of learning.
As always said problems never fade in our lives. So with school matters, problems were never out of our ways. We find difficulties in every lesson which art undertaken by us. In computer education, the only problem is that the slow access of the internet and we cant work on our activities. Due to projects and assignments it’s more about cramming things. These are the problems that were encountered by me. One problem also was that about on cleanliness that was never met that we wont be able to have our class because of that we were to be scolded.
Since these problems and challenges were to be faced, one way is being patient. Patience waiting the access of the internet. Being disciplined enough in doing the duties and responsibilities to be done. One thing more is being responsible, in doing and accomplishing the task given to me. I should not be coward in facing problems. I should not escape the difficulties in life. I should be firm and strong to be able to build a better me.
Moving on, I will be more matured in facing difficulties and problems in life. I’ll try my best to change my ways, my unnecessary doings. I will be very serious t my studies now and I will lessen my childish acts.

Fluently speak it with Kindness

Lifting up our fluency in speaking English and Filipino lifts also our personality. But come to think of it, isn't it better if we blend it with kindness? There's no bad in trying, so let's do it right.
Impressive that's how others will think of you if you fluently speak in English or in Filipino. But what wows them is when you speak it with kindness. Speaking with kindness should not only be said, it should also be acted to show that you are serious, sincere and true to what you are saying. It has always been said that being kind is unique and awesome so let’s portray kindness on our words and show them what we really got. Some may say that speaking English and Filipino is useless and much more with kindness, but they are wrong for we learn from our experiences, right? So if you practice speaking fluently today, it may indeed help you to face your future easier. You can correct your grammar and diction and all today and can accustom yourself speaking with kindness. and your voice will register to the mind of everybody hearing you speaking nicely. So to earn respect or if you want to be respected, what are we waiting for, let us speak English and Filipino with kindness and our life will be the best.
Our fluency in speaking English and Filipino with kindness must spread out so that all of us will be accustomed in using it. Come on now, lets do it right here, right now and be globally competitive.

Make Some Change!

The continuing outrageous outbreak of the A(H1N1) virus is now becoming abundant that the number of the victims aims or soars higher, thus bringing us fear.

We want our lives to be sick free. We want to live life to the fullest without worrying problems regarding our health. We want to live healthy, so to attain healthy body, we should maintain a mentally and physically fit body. In our life we aim to have a better body nutrition. Having good nutrition lets us prevent these so called lifestyle diseases. Not to mention all, the hypertensions, strokes, diabetes or the non-communicable diseases are some of the rare examples of lifestyle diseases. We can't prevent these things so easily, but we can treat them in many ways. These are the activities which are applicable and good for treating them. Doing our regular exercise will help us, we should eat a balanced diet and eat green leafy vegetables to gain energy to be strong. We should avoid smoking and the intake of drugs and instead, we should have a regular check-up, medications and we should have proper health education. Generally speaking, we should always maintain a good nutrition.

It's not yet the end of our lives. But we do not know what God's plans are. So, as early as now, let's make changes, change our wrong doings. Let us direct ourselves to attain greater heights in life without any sickness. Let us not tolerate sickness to defeat us, or put us down and be the hindrance in achieving our dreams.
